St. Teresa Avilà:
The important thing is not to think much but to love much;
and so do that which best stirs you to love.

Welcome! The following Taizé Contemplation is based on the program celebrated by Saint Pope John Paul II on Good Friday 1991 in Rome. There will be Scripture reading for each station. To contemplate the Word of God, we simply allow the Word of God to permeate deeply into our hearts, to speak to us. We then listen, growing quietly aware of any particular words that reach out and touch us. A brief time of silence and music follow each reading, allowing us time to reflect on what has touched us deeply.

As we begin, let us recall that we are truly in the presence of the holiness and love of God – the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

May we rest in the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of the Father, and the communion of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
